Astros Games Thread (till all star break)

Post#1 » by rocketworld » Fri Jun 29, 2007 11:59 pm

I guess ill make this the game thread for the rest of the games in the first half since we are so disorganized right now. We are posting about games in random threads.

Congratulations to Craig Biggio on achieving 3000 hits on a monster performance. Best on the night a player gets his 3000th hit!!!

Old Man reached the top of the mountain, and the view is fantastic.

Don't really care what happens now because we don't have the talent to make a legitimate run anyways. Keep Berkman/Lee/Pence/Oswalt/Jennings, maybe Lamb/Loretta as utility guys, and cut the rest of the dead weight off(including all 500 pounds of Purpura).

But, I think they'll end up doing the typical Astros routine: make a decent run before the break, then have a strong second half to get over .500 and get into the WC hunt and probably fall short in the last couple weeks by several games.

GO ASTROS!
