How far away are Thompson replacing Van vleet,
Whitmore replacing brooks in the starting lineup?

Amen: even if he ends up being the long-term starter, it won't be the same type of PG as FVV, that doesn't mean he'll be worse, it just will be quite different.

Brooks seems like the most plausibly replacable player right now among the vets.

Aside from some of the obvious individual skill development we need to see from them, I hope we see them start to play a bit better with each other, the chemistry among them isn't bad, but you don't see much if any of some of the telepathic stuff you would see with guys that play together for awhile (like no one seem to think Middleton is a great passer but he definitely is when it's with Giannis )
