So....Slay ended up having knee surgery re; torn meniscus.

Word is he'll be ready for training camp as it was "minor" surgery.

I'm worried about this pick, I hope Slay works out. I personally liked Banks more.

I worry about how well, or in-depth, we dive into these guys pre-draft. I read on twitter that out of our entire 2011 draft class, only LB Hogue hasn't been arrested. That's pretty terrible. And our history before 2011 hasn't been much better (thanks Millen). Man, I want this team to be so much better, and I'm so used to us getting in our own way. I hope this draft works out.

I'm not too worried about it, it honestly is a minor surgery and the fact that docs said he didn't have to have the surgery just reassures me it wasn't a major red flag. i'm glad he did it now so that its a non issue during the season. i'm not worried about this pick as much as i'm worried about who we didn't pick.

If martin doesn't make the team, i'm going to be pretty pissed

A torn miniscus isn't nothing, but hopefully it's minor. Still, knowing about injuries going in scares me a bit after Best.

i meant its not something that's long term. in other words, as soon as they repair it, it shouldn't be a issue.
