Trade deadline has passed, and i think Ortons a free agent at the end of the year. They are probably thinking that with the bears, texans, and cheifs situations that some team will outright claim him.

I think this is partially because of Elways comments where he doesn't seem to buy into Tebowmania.

Apparently the Redskins are going to trade 3 firsts (2012, 2012, 2014) and a second (2012) for the #2 pick to grab RGIII. Now I like Griffin alot but what a robbery. Kudos to St. Louis for pulling a coup. 3 firsts and second to drop back 4 spots and still probably get what they need (a WR, Blackmon)

That is one of the strangest moves I can ever recall. I really don't understand any part of it, not even Sanchez taking the money to stay there. IMO he would be much better served moving on to a lower profile gig...like backing up Stafford.
