Re: Any Sports Card Collectors Here?
I have a '68 Tiger ball signed by most of the team, but can't find anybody to buy it. I posted an ad on Craigslist for $1,000 and one guy offered me $500 for it and I said $750 and he wouldn't counter for any higher and I didn't bother to offer any lower.

Re: Any Sports Card Collectors Here?
I used to be one, back in the late 80s and early 90s. I had three trophies: Mike Schmidt rookie card in mint condition, George Brett rookie, and a signed 1977 Tom Seaver card. I had a ton of cards from the 70s and 80s, complete Topps sets for about half the years.
Sold everything to a card store when I needed money during college. The guy had just opened up and needed lots of inventory, gave me $4600 when the collection was probably worth about $7500. I only kept two cards, a 1980 Clay Matthews card that I got him to personally sign and a Chris Spielman rookie card. Still have 'em somewhere. I should probably try to find those...

It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game
