Lions v Pats, Preseason Game 3

Post#1 » by ajaX82 » Wed Aug 21, 2013 5:17 pm

Thursday at 7:30. Starters should play a decent amount. Some position battles could be won or lost. The team could continue looking like crap. Should be fun

Lions have been disappointing. Anyways, they are hardly playing starters on offense saving it for when it counts, but Patriots are looking good even though they lost some players.

Brady's gonna make our secondary look silly tonight. Will be fun to compare how many times he checks down to the RB to how many times Stafford does...

Yeah Rugland should get the next shot. 31 should be absolutely automatic for a vet

i like the offense on that series, i still hate the fact we have a qb with one of the biggest arms and he's a checkdown king

Hi guys....Just coming in here without checking the score yet, but judging from the posts here, I'm pretty sure I know how it went.

New England 38 Detroit 10

Something to that effect?
At the end of the day, it's not about wins and losses. Teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship make champions of us all.

Go arbitrary assortment of athletes! Beat the other arbitrary assortment of athletes or my mood will suffer!

CB Richard Marshall would be nice....

NE QBs rarely checked it down to the RBs....ours rarely throw wide to the WRs (unless its Calvin). Hope that changes soon.

Guys who looked particularly good last night:

OT Waddle (sleeper)
TE Fauria (3rd TE on the roster, IMO)
RB Bell (should he be our starter with Bush being change-of-pace back?)
DE Young (until his dumb taunting penalty)
DE Jones (had a ton of energy, made plays)

Return to Detroit Lions
