Going to be really fun to root against AR and the Jets this season.

I have a weird feeling the Packers and Jets will both be division winners next year. Packers because the north will be lackluster overall and Jets because they’re gonna be way better than most Packers fans want to admit and Buffalo is insanely overrated…

Just a hunch but I’m sticking with it..

I think the jets finish last in their division

Do you think the division will be good or the Jets will be terrible?

I think its going to be pretty close amongst Miami, New England and the Jets all with somwhere between 7-9 wins.

DUNN ACTED AS the go-between for Rodgers and the Packers, according to Gutekunst, after Rodgers ghosted them. Gutekunst told reporters in Phoenix he tried to reach Rodgers "many times" after Rodgers left Green Bay following the season and never got a response.

Sources with direct knowledge of the situation said Gutekunst even attempted to set up an in-person meeting with Rodgers in California. The GM had planned a scouting trip to Los Angeles for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl and wanted to meet with Rodgers while he was there but never heard from Rodgers.

This was all before Rodgers went on his four-day darkness retreat in late February.

Gutekunst then laid out to Dunn what he had planned to tell Rodgers.

"It was: If this is the way it's going to be [ghosting the Packers] and he wants to be back, we need to have those conversations," a source said. "[Dunn] talked to Aaron at some point and then said, 'He wants to keep playing, he wants to be a Jet.'"

At his introductory news conference with the Jets, Rodgers blamed the lack of communication on bad cell service at his Malibu home and said the only way to reach him is via FaceTime.

"After all efforts were exhausted -- with the exception of FaceTime, I guess -- to reach Aaron," a source said, "that's when Dave Dunn got involved."

I want as high as possible of a pick next year from them, that's the only reason I'll pay attention to the Jets this season. So glad the drama queen has moved out and moved on.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Watch them get eliminated from the playoffs and he shuts it down at 64.9% of snaps.

The would have to be ridiculously bad to get to a position where they think about shutting him down at less than 65% of the snaps. I don't think it's very likely that they're bad enough to be eliminated from the playoff picture before he hits that threshold.

I can't envision any scenario where that happens baring an injury and it's better for him to be shutdown then just power through it (especially if they are officially eliminated from contention). I mean, didn't the Jets restructure push 100+ million into 2024? If Rodgers gets shutdown due to a draft pick, you think he'd really want to come back again and/or play nice and make the contract better?

It was much more of a 'hey look Rodgers **** us one more time' kind of comment.

The Jets did push out some money but they'll have another $47 mil bonus decision after this upcoming season. If things go to hell and Rodgers is washed they'll move on and eat the sunk cost of the current $50mil bonus they already guaranteed.

It's kind of crazy, after pushing out this years bonus if Rodgers is on the roster in 2024 without a restructure he'll get $107mil in real cash next year between the old bonus, 2024 bonus, and salary. Hell get $50 mil if he's released. He did well on that last extension :)

Hack job by Rodgers to the Packers brass here. He comes off as so petty.

Absolutely amazing how he became everything he hated about Favre. Minus dick pics, as far as we know.

I don't think it is really surprising that he tried to flex to get Gute fired.

I can’t believe he thought this information and article would make him look good. Such a narcissist.

Just another reason to be glad he’s gone. His fragile ego can’t understand why the Packers would look out for their own future. No wonder he gets along so well with petty pat mcafee.

Edit: Also love how the man still continues to lie to people lol. That whole Christian Kirk scenario he laid out in the article makes no sense because Kirk signed in March 2022, but he said we offered Davante less than Kirk... He must be able to see the future... This guy just sucks. It's no wonder he has horrible personal relationships off the field, and now we're all seeing why.

He might actually be a compulsive liar. It undermines any salient points he tries to make.
