I can't either. It's just a bummer.

Yep. It just sucks. He's been a phenomenal player and a fantastic person for the team.

Sad news, but at least he won't need to care about money for the rest of his life.

I sort of defended Barry after the ATL loss and I stand by that game, but Barry was awful last night, he was out prepared & put his players in bad spots to succeed.
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

This just occurred to him? Maybe he didn't watch when we got run over by the Falcons 2 weeks ago. Maybe he closed his eyes when we gave up the 16th highest rushing yards in a game (Eagles) EVER last year?

I mean yeah, I'm glad he's again realizing this and not so subtly calling out Barry, but at the end of the day it's on him to recognize the recurring theme here. He's his guy and he's stuck by him even when everyone else knew he should've been **** canned in the offseason.

I couldn't believe how often I saw the safeties backing up in cover 2 in obvious run situations.

Missing Campbell didn't help, either.

It does seem like Barry doesn't understand that it's 6 points regardless if they hit a big play or bleed you out over 10+ play drives.

Irony is his style would work well against this current packers O because it's basically predicated on them not being able execute enough plays in a row without making a mistake.

Vet QB/teams will just take what you give them all the way down the field.

I mean, the Browns have been an absolute garbage defense for more than a decade running, but look what happened the second they brought in an actual defensive mind with a track record of getting the most out of personnel (Schwartz). Now all of a sudden that Cleveland defense looks like the greatest thing since the 2000 Ravens. There's talent all up and down this defense, but unfortunately we've hired consecutive unimaginative buffoons whose defensive philosophies are stuck in the mid-2000's.

It blows my mind that Lafleur is supposed to be this offensive genius and he can't watch the film of all the terrible sh*t our defense does and go walk down the hall and ask Barry WTF are you doing? Instead he'll just continue b*tching in press conferences as we waste another season.

Via MJS/PackerNews (Dougherty & Baranczyk)

...When Elgton Jenkins went down with a torn MCL a couple of weeks ago, coach Matt LaFleur and offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich had a decision. They could make a one-for-one replacement and plug in Royce Newman for Jenkins at left guard, or they could do some shuffling by moving versatile Zach Tom to left guard and replacing him at right tackle with Yosh Nijman....

....Tom showed last year he has the versality to move between positions during the season and still play well. And Nijman is a better right tackle than Newman is a guard.....

Is Jenkins our new Bakh? I mean, pretty good player, but can't stay healthy and is signed long-term.

What is Barry doing? Isn't this his job? Why do they have a defensive coordinator if the Head Coach who's mostly in charge of the offense has to sit with him and figure out how to use personnel and stop the run?

The clock starts on Stokes this week. I've heard nothing about him being able to practice.

Crazy that he started running again back only 5 months ago. Hope he hit those milestones.

It's possible that he was shopped on the QT, but with the chronic recurring nature of his knee injury along with his contract, that there weren't any reasonable offers
