Can that be taught though? Aaron Jones is smaller compared to him but Jones has some excellent blocks.

For sure can be taught in terms of technique, but as with any spatial awareness component in sports, a lot of it is a feel thing. Ex. Jones just making a point to go after Parsons last year in the playoffs. The general knock in his pass pro isn't that he lacks the IQ or feel for it, but that when push comes to shove, he just gets bullied by bigger guys. Wonder if that can be mitigated a bit by changing his leverage angles when he's sticking a block or giving a rub.

Send him to the Maurice Jones Drew school of pass blocking.

To be fair it also had a lot to do with scheme. They ran the full back at him like he was going to block him and the second Merriman was focused on the FB he took off into the flats and MJD got him good.

Intrigued by his lack of usage. I know they are completely different situations, and it may be as simple as that, but Braelon Allen had 2-3x the amount of carries in his career and even more receptions last year for example.

One thing I didn't know before is that Lloyd has the smallest hands of any RB in this class. That would certainly explain the fumbling issues and makes me nervous that he can get that issue corrected in the future.
