I could be off but I think he's laughing at the idea of posing it as something that's even a question at this point.

Or just laughing at the rollercoaster ride it's been.

I wouldn't say for sure that they have to extend him. It may be that his salary will be set by the QB market, not by his experience, in which case I'd rather pay him a top-5 QB salary after he's played well for 2 years than for 1. I mean, look at Daniel Jones. But it's really up to him, because they can't bring an unhappy superstar QB into camp. I just hope there's some sort of compromise where his salary reflects the fact that they do have him under contract at a bargain price next year, rather than just demanding a top-5 salary immediately.

Yes. Of course, you lock him up long term. For the sake of the team, you just hope it isn't an obscene amount.

Crazy how Love turned 2nd half of his season around and has been continuously improving, I was quite harsh towards him but gotta respect a guy who puts in the work and doesn't get rattled from expectations & a rocky start. Hopefully he has a Rodger's sized chip on his shoulder the rest of his career, not done yet!

I was basically out during that Rams game, but since then, he's been incredible.

Did you mean the Vikings game? He was great vs. the Rams.

Kinda nuts to think that we moved on from Aaron Rodgers.... and actually upgraded at QB (currently, not full body of work obviously)

Also don't think there's any way all these young receivers develop the way they did if Rodgers was still here.

So I felt time was needed so could evaluate him a little better.

I've had some time... Ya he's pretty good. I think we will be ok at the qb position.

From this podcast. The question was what QBs outside of Arod he'd want to play with.

Geez, how many of Love's picks were targeted at Watson, at least 5 or 6? Love had 11 regular season picks and 2 playoff picks. Watson had 56 targets between regular season and playoffs.

Let's get that Watson guy healthy and get on the same page and sky is the limit.

93 days until Love is eligible for a contract extension. Gute always pays top of the market. Rodgers, Bakhtiari's and Jaire's contract didn't age well. Also, Love's agent negotiated Deshaun Watson's contract.

I love Love but this has the potential to be a trainwreck.

GB is kinda stuck needing to pony up more than some of the major markets (IMO). Much reduced opportunity for secondary advertising and promo revenue compared to big cities.

Ehhhh. He's gonna get something like 5 years 240/50 with probably 150 guarenteed.

Either it's gonna look like a damn good deal in two years or his season was an aberration and in 2 years they're looking to get out of it.

Is what it is. Not sure what the issue is. Young QB with promise is gonna get paid
