A very close game 1, & it was obviously lost by our mishaps. It would of been nice to get the opening lead in the series, especially with Santana on the mound tonight, but oh well.

On the bright side, Fossum pitched well.

Crawford....hmmmmm.

He's young.

Crawford's an All-Star. You lose the "he's young" excuse once you are picked to represent your team. I know Maddon isn't Pinella, but he should give Carl a good talking to.

I really can't get over Reyes. Who would of thunk it? I mean he pitched solid for the Cards back in '05, but 3 for 3 in saves with only 1 hit!

Man if we could only get last nights game back, we'd have a commanding 2-0 series lead :banghead:

Good call. I just checked the probable starters & sure enough they have Bonser posted for game 4.

Reyes was dominating. Well done. Spot on.

I am impressed so far.........

Am I seeing light at the end of the tunnel?

You can tell that Ponson sucks because he walked Baldelli. No one walks Baldelli.

2-2 game, still top of the 2nd. Jackson was, um, a bit sketchy in the first. The infield defense was worse.

What is Maddon's obsession with Zobrist in the two hole?

And you can tell Zobrist sucks because he let Ponson strike him out twice.

He's your classic move-the-runner-along number 2 hitter. As was evidenced in the first inning.

Akinori Iwamura is going to draw more walks in the month of April than Young and Baldelli will combine for all season. Book it.

Zobrist turns down a possible force out at home in favour of a double play. Upton then throws it wildly and they just get the force at second. So yeah, he still can't field.

Maddon empties the bench and Gomes walks, Harris singles, and Pena hits a three run homer.

Hmmm.

I'm thinking less Zobrist, less Dukes.
