Steelers @ Dolphins. 1pm. 1/3/10

Post#1 » by unowen85 » Sun Jan 3, 2010 5:24 pm

Do you believe in miracles? Cause I don't. Steelers 30 Dolphins 10.

Last game as a Dolphin:
Porter
Wilson
Ginn
Fasano
?
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

It will be a nice consolation if the Jets are eliminated tonight. Too bad we played the Colts in week 2 instead of week 16.

We need a LB, WR, TE,DT in that order. How often is Torbor or Akin in coverage where they are 10 yards behind the TE? They are horrible and need to be replaced. WR is next but only if we can get a 1# type.

Why does Sparano keep deferring to start the game. It's never worked Tony. And because of it we always start the game down.

Sparano a second year coach, hes still learning LOL....

It seems like Joey tells him every game "This is the game where I'm going to bring it" and then Sparano defers and we start the game behind.

Nate Jones needs to get cut right now.

I thought Big Ben would run it up the middle. It seems every other game, we bring a blitz from the outside and we never leave a LB in the middle of the field. This game we did the same but Big Ben didn't run it.

Pat White finishing the game? Chad Henne sitting on the sideline.

Yeah Pat White is in a heck of a spot... I love how we are losing yet every team we needed to lose is also losing.... Ironic in a way that we just find ways to blow opportunity after opportunity

Oops Whites injured now too. We went for it on fourth and eight at our own 20 with Pat White as our QB. I don't even do that playing Madden

I do, but only with White, so I can use his running ability. :D

There shouldn't be one of those man.
Sparano has done a heck of job with a mediocre unit. We won eleven games last year and we were in the playoff race until the bitter end this season. He should get coach of the year in my opinion.
A first year QB in Henne basically a rookie, an aging running back, and a receiving core minus Davone Bess that is below average. He did great I thought. We need a dominant player on this team to be the face of the franchise. We havent had that type of player since Marino left. It can be a defensive player or an offensive player but we need one of those guys. Ricky Williams was becoming that player prior to his mid 2000's mishaps but thats as close as it's got.
There are a couple of potential candidates already on the team, but lets see what the offseason brings us and if we suck next year then it's time to can Sparano.
