Playoff chances

Post#1 » by MiamiNative0722 » Sun Oct 17, 2010 9:23 pm

For the dolphins to make the playoffs, they'll have to either win the division or be ahead of one team between new england and new York

Week by week let's discuss the playoff chances for the dolphins

It is currently week 6

One team through the wild card will probably be either the steelers or Baltimore from the afc north

The second wild card spot will probably be from the afc east

Today we beat green bay and our record is now 3-2, we are still 3rd place in the division but we got a solid win off a very difficult team in green bay

How do you feel about the dolphins making a playoff run?

I feel it's very possible

It's possible but like last year it's going to be very tough to do with this current team.
We could have three playoff teams in our division alone.
In the north Baltimore, Pitt, and Cincy are all going to be beating up on eachother. Don't count Cleveland out for an upset either. Pittsburgh is my pick to win that division and the only team to come out of that division with Baltimore getting edged out.
In the South I still think it goes to Indy but Houston is right behind them.
Out west it's a clear cut case of whoever wins that division.
As of right now I see it like this.... However this crap does change week to week because you just never know in the NFL.

Division winners
Jets- team to beat in the AFC
Steelers- Passed their hardest hurdle with flying colors.
Colts- Peyton Manning
Chargers- Phillip Rivers will get it together out there.

Wild Cards
Houston- They are a team on a mission and I don't see them missing the playoffs
New England- Tom Brady
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the outside....
Baltimore- They seem to find ways to sneak into the playoffs every year

MIAMI- We have the stuff to get to the playoffs and make a run but we need to win and the right teams need to lose.

KC- Nice story but too young
Tenn- Overrated/lucky but it will run out
Cincy- Dangerous team but not making it count when it matters.

Dolphins' playoff chances are getting dimmer as weeks goes by. I think they have to settle with wildcard. Patriots and Jets are looking good this season.

Losing 16-0 to the Bears at home tonight did not help our cause at all.
