Loved the DRAFT! Not only did Miami select two UM players(I'm an Alumni), we selected players with alot of potential......

But to the good stuff....

So I'm talking to this girl who is a huge Reggie Bush fan! Loves him(Mostly because of Kim K) but back to the point...So I was supposed to go to dinner this past week and I didn't make it...I told her I would make it up to her....Well, I had Reggie talk to her on the phone this week and I gave her a signed item that was "To XXX, (Signed)Reggie Bush"...Yeah..shes not mad anymore that I sold her out.. LOL

That's what you have those favors for, to use at the appropriate time. Good move

Wow! I'm gonna probably eat some crow now.

Is...is it really possible that Parcells was stunting Ireland's decisions?

Drafted a project QB that our coaches hope to develop. Got a RT to replace that sieve Columbo. Got a pass rusher from Miami. Went the extra mile and grabbed potential stud Lamar Miller to hopefully do what Darius Thomas couldn't on short yardage for us. Grabbed a receiver.

Last season, Ireland grabbed Matt Moore with a ninja signing that turned into a bit of a steal. He signed Reggie Bush who turned into a pretty damn good every-down back.

I'm actually really pleased with the draft right now, and positive on the the future again. Holy ****! When is that last time any Dolphins fan has uttered those words? As Flashpoint said, I'm sounding bipolar as ****. I'm actually pretty stoked right now, and I'm ready to hop off the Fire Ireland bandwagon now. We might be a bit of alright. We just might be. :D PEACE.

Love the DRAFT!

Ryan Tannehill; STUD

Jonathan Martin; Could of gone in the 1st & replaces Colombo!!!

Olivier Vernon; love this pick. Saw him alot in college. Alot of potential that could be the perfect complement to Wake on the weak side.

Michael Egnewl; I've been wanted a TE like this for some time. Someone who can stretch the field the way Gates, Finley and others can! If he would of come out last year, he would of been late first.

Lamar Miller; YES! YES! YES! I had Lamar Miller as the 2nd best back in the DRAFT! When healthy his a game changer!

Josh Kaddu; Another player that plays fast!!

WR BJ Cunningham; Solid prospect. Reminds me of Hines Ward...

Kheeston Randle; whenever you draft someone in 7th and they have a bunch of Youtube videos, you know you have a chance lol

Rishard Matthews

Decent draft.

We got great VALUE in our picks, but in all honesty, none of the other picks matter if Tannehill ends up sucking.

Our draft this year will be a success vs failure based on how he turns out.

Martin is a starter, but there are no other starters that we drafted.

Egnew will be decent, Miller will give us a change of pace, but none of these 2 will be breakout players. Vernon is undersized, but hopefully can free up Wake for more pressure.

Late round guys are all crap shoots, if they make the team, then thats a plus.

easily the best I have felt about a draft in recent memory.

LOVE the Lamar Miller pick. chance to be a superstar.

but as others have said this draft rides or dies with Tannehill. so does this regime.

I still don't know why guys are not feeling too good about Tannehill. I think he'll do brilliantly for us. Imo, the best we could have gotten at that point.

Getting a shot at a dream
Ex-UM quarterback Jacory Harris will be among the rookies to get a tryout at Dolphins minicamp, but their chances are slim.

Fins drafting Lamar Miller made me look back and think of Bryce Brown. Remember him? Was supposed to be the top recruit for UM then switched to Tennessee...then switched schools again. The dude that replaced him was Lamar. I remember Joe Rose going off saying Bryce didn't want to compete with Miller

Well ole Bryce got drafted by the Eagles in the 7th round it seems.

I have my doubts and fears. I wasn't impressed with him at aTm. I was talking to another Phins fan yesterday and he said the same thing I did. Why not take the top guy from that conference (RG3)? Even Weeden seemed interesting after that Sports Science battery of tests. However, I don't mind too much given the overall strength of our draft this season. I think this is the best draft we've had since I became a Dolphins fan. I actually have hope for the future of this team. We may not be a playoff team this season, but now I can actually see the direction this team is heading in. We're a few pieces away (next season) from making a real playoff run IMO. PEACE.

Cameron Wake, Dolphins agree to contract extension

Cameron Wake and the Dolphins agree to a four-year contract extension worth $49 million, which includes $20 million guaranteed.

Booyah! The man deserves it. I love seeing a player work as hard as he does. Leads the league in drawing holding penalties and there are plenty that don't get called. Damn refs have an anti-CFL conspiracy.

I guess it's time to get my ass to the park for a game. I've been waiting for them to get rolling before I buy a ticket. I'm not a big fan of baseball anymore. PEACE.

They're not good yet at home, I am not a big fan of baseball, but I am driving down for at least 1 game before the end of the season.

damn, their 7 game winning streak snapped.

They are finally at .500 though...

I'd like to go to a game too. The fact that there's no rain outs or getting hot as hell anymore is very appealing. I'm glad they made the stadium a rooftop with AC. People go to the game just to have fun rather than actually seeing the team. Soon it will be like a leisure activity, even if the team sucks.

Wow this thread just shifted gears to the Marlins. It's fun to see Giancarlo start hitting. The power switch definitely flipped on. Our 2-5 starters have been incredible. I hope Josh pulls it together this next start or he may be shelved on the DL while they try to find out what's wrong.
