Funny **** is, my dad and I were talking about A-Rod's struggles a few days ago and he said that the A-Rod is the type of washed up player the Marlins would go after. :o

Huh. JaxShow was just talking about this idea today. He kept saying he was just spitballing. I wonder if he read this article first. PEACE.

A-Rod's contract should not be touched. Probably the worst contract in sports right now. He already looks pretty washed-up right now, imagine 5 years from now? He'll be a corpse.

UM just got robbed of a touch down on a fumble recovery. Wow.

Officials from FSU vs. Miami have been suspended for a game. At half-time the penalty should of forced half time. Fisher fought the officials and got them to change the official rule, which gave FSU 3 extra points. This year UM has been given the short end on almost every call.

Even though it's not the reason we lost, i'm glad something was done.

I wasn't sure about that "run down" rule until reading about it just now, but I think you're right about getting the short end of the stick. Like that fumble recovery, our guy had recovered with a clear path for a TD but the ref called it off and ruled it an incomplete pass. On top of not getting the TD, now we needed indisputable evidence to reverse it, which really bailed out FSU.

The worse part was that they didn't reverse the call after the challenge although it looked like the guy had possession with two feet down before the ball got knocked loose.

IIRC, FSU went on to score a TD after that play.

It's tough enough to beat a ranked team, but it's compounded when the refs are that generous.

It's not the reason we lost and I still put the blame on our poor offense. Our defense is worse, but a good offense will make sure the defense doesn't have to be out on the field for good portion of the game.

I wouldn't want A-Rod on our team anyways. Dude is so overrated, always has been. Funny thing is A-Rod has a no trade clause and has said he will not opt out of his contract, so the Yankees are stuck paying that guy 25 million per year just to sit.

Not really sure Guillen was to blame for everything. The Marlins just overreached in their off-season. Tried to get too many "me" players to gel on a team with a brand new coach. I think if Ozzie got another year he'd work out the kinks and get them back on track. Either way the Marlins did the same thing they do every year (minus the two they won) and thats blow the season away and trade away a pretty solid talent that they have.

Guillen was garbage and let's be honest, when he started talking all that communist nonsense that really pissed off a city filled with hispanics.

Not all the blame, but he def. gets blame for not removing Heath Bell as a closer early on in the season.

This, too. As a Cuban-American, he pretty much had to lead us to a title after his comments.

For those who think AROD to Miami is a lock. I've been told by soemone close that this thing could draw out. He wants out but he wants out on his term(No Trade Clause). He has indicated that he would be intersted in 4 teams; Marlins, Angels, Dodgers and I forgot the 4th team.

2nd drive of the game for the Fins, first down of the drive, Dolphins call a play for Tannehill to go deep to Hartline for 35yrds.

I don't know why we don't we run a few more plays like this on every drive...

Instead, we get 4 rushes in the first drive for 2.5yrds. What a waste of downs and it puts a lot of pressure our offense to convert our third downs.

When the Dolphins make that adjustment, we'll be putting up more points on the board and our D will be grateful for it.

We got lucky the Colts didn't score on that last drive and only got a FG out of it. Their O is killing our secondary.
