Three of their "easy" games are against the Bulls.[/quote]

Yep. Three of the Knicks final six games are with the Bulls. How in the world does that happen?
That is one odd scheduling quirk.

Knicks and Cavs both lose but all the teams chasing us win.

NBA APP now has Crunch Time show showing all the key late game action live. Show starts at 8:30 many days. I get it on my phone and cast it to my TV.

Portland misses a final shot that would've beaten the Magic. Hawks are ahead of the Bulls. Our win clinched 9th and if the Hawks hold on we'll clinch 8th.

It's crazy how far 3rd place has fallen

Embiid played and Philly came back from 11 down to beat short handed Thunder. Heat also won but they beat Knicks who could be sliding.

Pacers definitely have to take care of their business to the end with the Heat on our tail. It’s possible that the Magic or Knicks fall past us.

Wednesday
Magic play at the Pelicans while the Pacers are in Brooklyn.

Thursday
The 76ers play at the Heat and the Kings visit the Knicks.

Another loss to a non playoff team. Pacers fall to 7th and Heat move to sixth.

If the Pacers don’t get back into sixth you and I know that they will struggle to get through the play in because Embid is back and the 76ers will get into the playoffs and the Pacers can’t beat the Bulls. Even if they finish 7th or 8th they face the Celtics, Bucks, or Cavaliers which will be a 0-4 series exit.

The good thing for the Pacers is that OKC is without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is out for the Thunder and Jalen Williams is doubtful tomorrow in Indianapolis. Boston beat OKC last night by 35 in Boston.

Sixers won a close one over the Heat and we're back in sixth. For a while it looked like Kings would beat the Knicks but no luck.

Julius Randle is out for the season so I expect the Knicks to drop. Still have no time table on OG. IDK if OG is playing tonight or not.

I'd like to have OG but his injury record is rough and very risky if he's on a big money contract.

Are the Knicks better or worse without Randle?

Very debatable. Like other star players he can score in double figures regularly, rebound, and lead his team. However, I’ve always thought his judgement/ basketball IQ is lacking as a team player.

Personally I think Siakam is a better option. I’m very happy with his acquisition.

As far as Anunoby goes like Wacko said I’m not sure he’s worth a huge contract like Siakam is worth it. I would pay medium $$’s for his defensive skills.

Edited to night end results.

Pacers win to stay in 6th.

Magic lose to Hornets so they’re only 1.5 games ahead of the Pacers in 5th.

Knicks also lose and stay tied in 5th with the Magic 1.5 games ahead of the Pacers.

Heat win over the Rockets and stay .5 game behind us in 7th.

Bucks lost and 2nd place is within reach for Cavs.

Cavaliers and 76ers idle tonight.

Sunday verses Heat is gonna be a big deal. They are tough and playoff tested and Pacers are not.

And they’re now fully healthy as Herro came back tonight.

Winner not only gets the 'W',... but also the tie breaker between us & the Heat.

I'd say they are not as good without him, if no other reason it hurts their depth, and with OG still out I have a feeling the Pacers are gonna jump over the Knicks into 5th place. The Pacers really need to beat the Heat on Sunday!
