Nice to see he has skills that haven’t translated to the NBA quite yet.

I’m sure a big part of it is not getting enough game run to get comfortable like Terry Taylor.

How has Kendall Brown looked?

Last game he had his best game it seems like. 20 points, 9-11 shooting, 2-3 from 3PT, 3 rebounds, 4 assists.

Got suspended for berating referee. Guess the Pacers didn’t like his reasoning. Don’t know how serious it was but I don’t like players whining excessively or pulling ref aside to argue their position.

While that's possible, it could just be that we've decided he isn't in our plans for next year and we chose to do him the favor of letting him loose in case a team with a bigger need for guards gives him a chance.

EDIT: Scott Agness says Gabe York is expected to get a late season 2-way just as he did a year ago.

I think they are just giving him a chance to hook up with a team that will use him. We have a lot of guys in his size range. But he's been playing great in the G-League seems like he's good enough to play in the NBA at least a backup.

I grew up like 2 miles from this exact site it’s being built at, so this is weird for me. I hate the city paying largely for the facility, but the Pacers are likely to love having the team much closer for personnel reasons.

So they were called the "Mad Ants" because of Mad Anthony Wayne. Now that they are in Noblesville will they chance the name?

The franchise will remain the Mad Ants through the 2023-2024 season. A new mascot will be unveiled prior to the 2024-2025 season and Mad Ants, a name with a special tie to Fort Wayne, will be retired.

we're told Noblesville will be in the new name so it could just be the Noblesville Pacers. I'd propose Trotters to complete the harness racing allusion but that won't happen.

Scott Agness had a podcast about this and he says people are not happy. Lots of confusion, lack of marketing, lack of communication. Hope they figure it out.

Whats going on with this? Feel like once they announced this there wasn't any other news given. Will they be changing the name? Seems odd if they didn't.

They pretty much gave all the info necessary until they really start up operations in Noblesville. THey’ll Be changing the name when they move.

Free agent guard Trevelin Queen — the 2022 G-League MVP — has reached an agreement on a one-year deal with the Orlando Magic, his agent Daniel Hazan of @hazansportsmgmt tells @NBAonTNT, @BleacherReport.

The Indiana Mad Ants website is not showing the roster yet but these guys plus our 3 two way players are the first players I’ve seen linked to this year’s roster. More will be revealed as training camp approaches and players are then given opportunities to join the Max Ants. I’m not finding any Mad Ants players listed that we’ve retained rights to from last season yet.

Oscar Tshiebwe
Isiah Wong
Kendall Brown
Jordan Bell——-Exhibit 10
Darius McGhee ——Exhibit 10
Pedro Bradshaw —-Exhibit 10
Craig Sword ——returning rights through trade
Thon Maker ——returning rights through trade

Unknown Mad Ants/summer league players statuses
Justin Anderson
Bennie Boatwright
Jordan Bone
Eli Brooks
Tevin Brown
Elfrid Payton
Will Vorhees
Nate Laszewski
Ethan Thompson
Robert Woodard II

I know Stockton, Nate Hinton, Deividas Sirvydis, Trevelin Queen, and Jermaine Samuels have signed elsewhere.

I assume that the Pacers signed them to waive them so they can become Mad Ants. I guess we will see if they are invited to training camp.
