Pacers vs. Spurs 11/6

Post#1 » by boomershadow » Mon Nov 6, 2023 12:19 pm

Like the Spurs, the Pacers are also coming off a difficult loss of their own. On Saturday night, the Pacers went down to the wire at home against the Charlotte Hornets, but ultimately came out of that game in the loss column by a single point.

All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton will be tough to stop. He's coming off a 43-point performance on Saturday against the Hornets and is always a threat to change the game single-handedly.

The Spurs also have a player that can do that ... Victor Wembanyama. While he struggled down the stretch against the Raptors, San Antonio hopes that the No. 1 overall pick can bounce back against the Pacers.

I like Benn Mathurin but I think they need to start Buddy if they want to win.

Toppin looks like a basketball player but seems pretty clueless.

Anyone besides me notice how the same 4-5 teams always seem to get the #1 overall pick.

If it were fixed, it wouldn't be those teams.

Will the Pacers score 150, or give up 150? Only way to find out is to TUNE IN!

This is definitely a fun team

Turner has impressed me so far this season, he's matured a lot as a player

There's one sequence where I think Toppin had a good matchup under the basket, Brown had the ball and passed it to Turner at the top of the key, but Turner immediately threw it back to him and indicated he should lob it inside to Toppin

Not quite a floor general yet, but it's a stark difference to the Myles Turner of the McMillan era who frequently appeared unsure what to do when he caught the ball

Also, he followed up and tipped in 3 (I think) of Haliburton's misses, which was really satisfying to see
