Rob Mackowiak (when he was on PIT)

He owns the Brewers.
I think he has 2 or 3 walk-off hits on us this year.

Over the last 3 years he's hitting .333 against us, with 6 HRs and 16 RBIs.

.417 OBP, .683 SLG, 1.100 OPS

It's not really any mediocre player in particular, it's terrible teams full of mediocre players that own us.

Brandon Phillips.

Edit: Well, he's better than Mediocre, but he kills us.

I can't really find one for the Sox. Lilly really stuck out in my mind, but his career numbers against Boston aren't all that great.

Tim Wakefield is pretty mediocre and he absolutely owns the Devil Rays. That's gotta be the best example of this thread. Check out his numbers, they are truly amazing...especially considering how large the sample size is:

19-2 record in 188 1/3 IP, 2.72 ERA, 1.07 WHIP with a .209 BAA.

Jamie Moyer vs. the Florida Marlins

6-0 in 6 starts with a 2.31 era.
This season he is 3-0 with a 1.35 era.

When Enrique Wilson was on the Yankees he used to own Pedro Martinez. The guy was a backup up player, yet he put up good numbers against Petey.
