Wow I would love to take a bat to Valverde's head.

What a ridiculous (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

And Jones is terrible.

He has like a .280 OBP, he's not a good hitter. He just hits a lot of HR's so it sucks when you catch him hot.

Rookie.

And he's a .260 hitter with a .310 OBP in the lead off spot.

What does him being a rookie have to do with not being a good hitter right now? I'm not saying I wouldn't love to have him on the roster, but right now he's just not a very good hitter.

Meaning he still has time to adjust, hitting .235 overall isn't worrying me at all. He's only going to get better. I'll say .280 in his prime, and 30 HR's a year at most.

I never said it should worry you...I said RIGHT NOW he is not a good hitter. Stop arguing, I'm not talking about what he'll do in his prime.

Oh, yeah. Right now he has zero patience, very little eye and misses a lot of good pitches. I'm not arguing, sorry if it came across that way.

No worries. And to reiterate, I'd LOVE to have him on the Cubs (though I do love our own young CF, Pie) and am pretty confident he'll mature and have a better approach at the plate in the coming years.

Jones gets robbed of the tying single twice.

One of the most heartbreaking loses of the year, IMO.
