Sorry but the 10 tickets I bought for Friday's game might impede your ability to buy tickets to the game.

EDIT: PS. Kruk is a douch.

True that,

I am in shock that we have the best record in the league. I never would have thought we would be playing so good.

But all my friends who are Cubs, Braves fans are saying we are just doing so good because we are playing crappy teams. :banghead:

I wasn't prepared for us to be playing this well. And now...well...I don't know how to handle it.

Excited? Yes.
Scared? Yes.
Hopeful? Yes.
Angry? Yes.
Thrilled? Yes.
Pessimistic? Yes.

Confident? NO.

This team needs to earn my trust. But I'm loving the way they're playing right now.

For those that didn't get a chance to listen, the D-List guys read my e-mail to Kruk and he said that he was forced to make a "bold prediction" and that's why he said it. He basically ended up backing off of his statement and said the Crew wil be on top of the division "for a long time".

Guys like Kruk always make "bold predictions". Otherwise no one would bother with them. They routinely make a bunch of predictions. No one remembers when they are wrong (95%) of the time. When they get lucky they make a big deal out of it.

That's how it works in the media. Hell, it got us to start a thread about this no talent hack.

Go SHOVE it John Kruk. I wonder if he takes back that statement now. This is the Brewers year

Truth be told, the Brewers are playing crappy teams. The catch is that all of those teams are in the division. With exception to the Cubs (3-3) the Brewers are winning the majority. You can't fault a team for it's opponents, all they can do is go out and beat them, and that is what the Brewers are doing.

That being said, I think we'll all see what this team is made of after the month of May. After the Nationals, its AT Mets and Philly, HOME against Minnesota, AT Dodgers and Padres, and HOME against Atlanta.

If the Brewers can hold on with a .500 record during the month of May, then they are in great shape.

What would some of these team records be if they hadn't played the Brewers? Maybe there records look bad cause we have beat them. Maybe the Orioles are really a good team but look bad cause the Sox and Yankees beat on them....or is it maybe the Yankees aren't that good cause they play the Rays and Orioles...

I just know even if we beat these good teams ,that we are about to play in the up coming weeks, people will still have an excuse why we arnt good as our record says.

How is he on the right track. On May 1 the Pirates were 4 1/2 games behind us, now they are 5 1/2 games behind us.

Return to Milwaukee Brewers
