The NL Central is complete crap... there is no achievement in winning that divison. The Brewers biggest competiton is the Reds, and they can't hit to save their lives.

Somebody has to do it.

Besides, winning the division is a big deal regardless since it gets you in the playoffs where anything can happen (see St. Louis last year). Plus the Brewers haven't had a division title in roughly 12,000 years.

Almost got swept at home by a hobbled Twins team.

Yep they sure looked like the best team in baseball

You have to be a little more clear with your team allegiances obviously. I mean with a name like "BlueJay" who knows what team you support!

Hey man, bluejay could mean anything. Who knows if that is one of his nicknames? Or if he likes bluejays? If this was just a baseball website I would come to that conclusion but it could mean anything. Now if he had an avatar or sig for the BlueJays that would be different.

Id like to see your Brewers come and play in the AL East with the big boys.

couldnt even take care of the Twins, and they have a bunch of hacks pitching.

We were in a rut, every team goes through a rut. We are going to get out of the rut now. We are a good team this year, we do something every 25 years. 1957 milwaukee braves world champs, 82 milwaukee brewers win the al pennet, 2007??

Cubs fans have shown you guys respect. I like the fact someone other than the Astros or Cardinals are winning our division.
Hopefully we can chase you down and make it a fun summer race.

If the Brew Crew was still in the AL Central, they would probably finish in 3rd if all teams remained healthy throughout.. Maybe 4th if the White Sox ever wake up (which I hope is never)..

Best teams in baseball

Red Sox
Mets
Indians
Tigers
Braves
Brewers

So we could face power houses such as the Orioles and Devil Rays? Ha! Not likely.

Well anybody who has watched the Brewers for the past 5+ years knows they can't hit rookie/garbage pitchers. We always beat the Oswalt/Carpenter/Zambrano/Peavy types.

Put the O's in your pathetic conference and they'd be the 2nd best team and challenge you for first place.

Conference, Division same ****, different pile

Its funny how you ignored the main point that your DIVISION is crap and that you could take a bottom feeder like Baltimore from the AL East and they would have a good shot at winning your junk of a division.

Theres no coincedence that your teams little "rut" started when you actually started playing teams that are legit and not offensively deficient teams like Pittsburgh or St. Louis.

1. Where did I ever say the division wasn't crap? But come on, Baltimore wouldn't challenge for the division.

2. I never expected to win on the road in Philly or New York, I was expecting 1 of 3 in New York (which happened) and a split in Philly (which almost happened minus a Turnbow implosion) we then got back home with Weeks hurt which forced us to play both Crapanino and Counsell all weekend. :banghead:

They sure would.

There easily the 2nd best team and would challenge your Brewers for the Division.
