Impact guys are top 10 if any. Lee isn't impact. Nor Dennard.

Also, for those who don't know the Eagles may have started using SPARQ ratings to add to their player's profiles. The Seattle Seahawks use it and it provides a boost to athletic players. Also, Seattle was very high on Marcus Smith and were somewhat expected to take him at 32. He wasn't there, and they traded back.

Really, where did you read this? I also read that Seattle was interested in Easley and when NE took him that factored into them trading back too.

I like Matthews. I figured they traded up for him or Latimer.

Huff will be useful, but yeah, I would've went in a different position.

Huff's #'s are pretty solid....Bryant from Clemson would have made me drool.

I would assume chip was looking for a slot type of guy to give defense fits. Ive always wanted eagles to get that small guy in the slot that isn't named jason avant. But we have the 1st pick of the 4th and 5th round, so we still have good chances to add to the defensive corps.

Pierre Desir is on the board....hope we take him.

Great story, great kid. a big, athletic corner.

maybe the huff pick would feel ore justified if we didn't trade the pick before him. Even though we have logan i thought maybe we could use nix since hes a bigger nose tackle, especially after getting destroyed by the saints qb sneak and running game. As long as our remaining picks go towards helping the defense i will be happy. I mean this is the nfl draft, you can find a diamond in the rough at any point, so lets not get down.

Not too happy about the draft so far tbh. Not coz I doubt the job Chip and Howie are doing (what do I know right?), but more because I had players that I felt would have been better fits for us/would have been awesome to watch, picked right around our spots (still salty about Ha-Ha and Cooks).

All I'm hoping for is that we somehow end up with Telvin Smith and convert him into a safety, ala Kam Chancellor.
