A little too crazy

I'm sorry, I just can't buy this. This matchup is not that lopsided. 10-12 points for the Pats imo unless the injury report looks extremely dire.

There are better teams for the Pats to be favoured by this much over. If they play the Jets again, that'd be a nice place to start.

I thought better teams usually cause the spread to decrease, not increase ;)

I think the spread has more to do with the uncertainty of McNabb than the actual dichotomy between the Eagles and Patriots. If McNabb were certain, the line would probably be in the 16-17 range.

Vegas doesn't know how to handle the Pats

A spread isn't the predicted outcome of the game, it's what the bookmakers think it would to take to get bets for both sides (something like that). The Pats are just blowing everyone out, and I think they're like 9-1 vs the spread, everyone and their mother is putting their money on the Pats and winning.

Some books aren't even taking bets on the Pats anymore.. they know it's ridiculous to give an NFL team that many points, but there's no other option. The Pats are that good (and aren't afraid to run up the score.. another thing to consider).

Also, I would take the Pats with the points if I had to pick.

The only way to slow the Pats down is with a good pass rush from the D-line. Our pass rush was good at the beginning of the season, but it disappeared (same as last year...grrrrrrrrr).

We struggle against the 3-4, and Belichick is awesome. They'll keep Westbrook contained.

Moss will have a huge game against our small CBs.

They have much better special teams, which I think will play a big part in the game.

Everything points to a huge Pats win IMO, and I'm a huge Eagles homer :D

I'd also take the over which is at 51 right now..... Eagles will get some points, and I think the Pats could get 51 themselves if they keep running up the score

Well I have to laugh at some Pats looking worried or pissed as the game is 7-7 and it took over half the 1st quarter for Brady to finally get the ball.
That INT got AJ in a groove as Juqua just drilled Brady into the turf. :D

The Eagles played a GREAT game. They did an awesome job of getting pressure on Brady while at the same time having solid coverage (especially against Moss). Im not an Eagles fan so I dont watch all their games, but it seems like this year theyve alternated between playing really good games, and playing really bad games. I still think you guys can be really dangerous if you make the playoffs.

I had a blast at the game in Foxboro last night...the Pats' fans actually treated me relatively well...

I was there too. Even though there are no moral victories, I am proud of the team.
