If Pelfrey has is secondary pitches working, he could be down right nasty. That strikeout he had against Kelly Johnson was nasty.

Now Wright wants to take the pitch. He swung at the one he should've took.

I know some mets fans who thought that too. :D

anyway, I'm just happy this team bounced back. one 5 game loosing streak doesn't mean much compared to a whole season. We're still a first place team and a playoff caliber team.

But these 2 games were really big - a Sweep of Atlanta would be a nice way to bounce back.

- and,

It's great to see Pelf (I hope) get his first win. I hope Pelf gets another start or two.
Didn't expect to be rooting for the Celtics, but that's what happened.

With El Duque missing his next start, Pelf should get another one.

Feliciano was **** nasty.

Thrilledge showing some of that opposite field power he was touted to have.

Carloses doing well.

And Big Mike Pelfrey was beasting.

I like this team.

I know that they're not 14 games up like they were this time last year.

But Delgado's starting to hit. Alou is hitting. Wright has been hot and Beltran's hot again too. Add Reyes and, Milledge to the list and that's a nifty lineup of hitters and Speed.

Pedro coming back, things are looking good. Granted, the pen is a little less good than I'd like, but not terrible. Feliciano, Heilman & Wags is a nice trio.

Oh well...all's well that ends well. I still don't know why he's warming up Mota in a two run game.
