Keys to the Game

Steelers should be fresh from their week off. QB Ben Rothlisberger is back and live in living color. The Steelers will look to get back on track at home against the Browns. The defense will be a concern so expect the game to be another grindout like the Ravens was two weeks back. So this game won't be an easy cakewalk. Also the Brown will start QB rookie Colt McCoy against the Steelers infamous defense. The Browns will do what they can to protect McCoy, but I'm expecting the whole idea of playing vs. the Steelers should have McCoy rattlin in his cleats, if not see a large yellow stain comn down his pants if it hasn't happen already. Anyways, the game will be a grindout, but I'm expect the Steelers to pullout at least by 10pts.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to see this game due to work. So I'm benched this week. :nonono:

The game isn't on in my area today, but I see where Big Ben threw a TD pass to give the Steelers a 7-3 lead.

The Steelers are sporting the old yellow throwback helmets today.

There doesn't look like there is a whole lot going on out there today, it is halftime still 7-3 Steelers.

I got in late and started watching this stream right about halftime, but they said that Cribbs will be out for the Browns for the rest of the day. I wonder what happened to him?

The Steelers start the 2nd half out on their own 4 yard line, but that doesn't matter with Big Ben, he connected on a 40 yard pass to Wallace, and followed it up with a 27 yard pass to Miller. Right now it is 3rd down and goal on the browns 8.

That was a heck of a sequence. Sepulveda punts and pins the browns on about the 2 yard line, flag rekick. Punts again and pins them around the 9, flag repunt, punts again this time the browns fumble and the steelers recover, flag again, but this time it was offsides on the brownies. After all of that the steelers have it in the browns red zone, 1st down.

Now it is 1st and goal after a pass completion to Mendenhall. 1st and goal on the 2. TD Mendenhall, that was the first rushing TD allowed by the brownies this season.

21-3 steelers

5:50 left to play in the 4th

Colt McCoy marched the brownies right down the field to make it 21-10 steelers. He hasn't looked bad for a rookie, especially against this defense. I am pretty impressed with him so far.

The brownies tried an onside kick, but the steelers recovered.

IMO Sepulveda is the best punter in the league, he pinned them inside the 2 again.

Timmons came up with an interception and Big Ben hit Heath Miller in the back of the end zone.

28-10 steelers with about 1:30 left to play.

4-1 and they could just as easily be 5-0. I would have never guessed that they would get off to a start like this. It is probably a good thing because the next 3 games are on the road against quality opponents (Miami, New Orleans, and Cincy) before returning home to face New England. The real test is about to begin.

The Steelers will finish the week all alone on top of the division after the Ravens loss to the Patriots

good game for ben to shake off the rust after we get into the hard part of our schedule. he had a pretty good performance and james harrison laid the wood. colt mccoy impressed me i thought he was gonna be tortured. anyways it was just the brownies on to bigger better opponents.
