A pretty horrible start by Mussina. But he's been very good lately, so I can't get on him too bad. He's not the Mussina of old anymore, and these type of starts are going to come with the territory. This just goes to show you how important it is to develop pitching, because our best option this offseason was to sign a 38 year old Mussina.

Yeah, a little bit. :D

Who should we have signed this offseason instead of Moose? Moose was going to take a short term deal so we could move our young pitchers into the rotation after he left.

Abreu jacks one into the A-Rod section. He cuts the Tiger's lead in half.

Abreu!!

Please get somebody warmed up for the next inning. Moose doesn't have it today. If he puts a runner on, take him out.

This game will be determined by the bullpens because neither pitcher will go longer than 6 innings.

I doubt either of them will last 4 or 5 innings.

Good play by Moose too. He's still a terrific fielder.

Please bring Farnsworth out for another inning. It's beyond pointless to only use him for 1 inning at a time.
