That's 100% on Deebo, went right through his hands and hit him in the chest

It’s not, the ball placement should have been on the right side which is where Deebo was clearly expecting it. He had the DB shielded so that he could catch against the sideline. Jimmy put the ball on his left shoulder pad where the DB was.
Wow the pass was off by 2 feet in a driving rain. Shoot Jimmy

Ball placement was terrible, what are you talking about

Since when is is hitting a receiver in the numbers bad placement?

He didn’t his him in the numbers, he hit him on his left shoulder pad (where the DB was) when the WR was expecting it on the right. It was bad ball placement.

If you like Deebo and hate Jimmy, then its clearly a terrible pass.

Sure am glad Kyle decided to go for that ghost challenge earlier.

Not like that extra TO would be useful about now or anything

Wentz seems to be doing just fine. Jimmy just isn’t that guy

QB play is almost irrelevant at this point. We can't simply beat teams with the corners that we have.

Set your dislike for Jimmy aside for a minute, and go back and watch the replay

OR if you understand WR body position and ball placement, it’s a poor ball placement.

Yup doing just fine picking up 40+ yards on PI's on multiple occassions, while at the same time not getting much pressure

I’ve watched it several times just as you have. The ball placement was on the wrong side of the body, plain and simple.

Do you really think that the ball should have went to his left side?

Yeah, Jimmy could never lead them on a 3 pass play td drive. Like he just did. We have a weak receiver corp and a coach who won't throw it long.

OR if you understand that this is the NFL and if a pass goes through a reciever's hands and hits him in the chest, that's on the WR

Yeah, cuz those lobs were just beautiful throws.

Not like each of them were frozen ropes, and weren't underthrown forcing the reciever to come back to ball each time.

Return to San Francisco 49ers
