We're at the point where we can go ahead and pull the defensive stars as well

They have to make that contract look good. He hasn’t looked great today though

It would be a terrible look if he got hurt on a completely inconsequential play. Especially when he was already on the sideline, and they subbed him in.

This group doesn’t exactly make smart decision in terms of player health

McKivitz weak link.

Hopefully only because it was Watt.

But Purdy looks to extend plays to his left, exposing his throwing arm to the same kind of injury he had.

Any team with a strong edge rusher over McKivitz is going to be a problem.

As far as the DBs who looked shaky giving up big cushion, I guess the plan is to not let them get over the top and hope the pass rush gets home and force turnovers or at least short passes.

I expected a low scoring game with two of the top defenses. If Steelers D is still as good as advertised our offense is going to be scary this year. Outside of Watt their D did nothing. peterson laid an egg as usual.

Wilks first game looked liked we picked up where we left off. They strung together consecutive 3 and outs and generated pressure and interceptions. Steelers only had 41 yards total on the ground. The D was firing on all levels. Once Bosa gets rolling it should only improve.

Kyle reported no injuries after the game, which is obviously great.

A lot of good vibes coming from the team now. That cross country flight home is gonna be a fun one.

Amazing start to the season. Early start against what I thought was a good D in Pittsburg, given the team's recent track record in week one, I was pretty worried about this one. A couple things to quibble about (McKivitz's pass-blocking, the ongoing scourge that is our KO coverage), but otherwise it felt like we were clicking in every facet. Dominating win from start to finish. Really encouraging.

Though all of a sudden the Rams look like they might actually put up a fight next week?!?!

Almost had a heart attack when Trent went down. Our OT depth is super shaky.

Return to San Francisco 49ers
