Yeah since there is a risk of it being season ending.

But I guess Kyle said it's higher on the bicep instead of lower and I guess lower tends to mean it's season long so hopefully it's just strained or something.

No question that this is the best team under the Shanahan era and it's just a matter of if they can cash it in.

What makes me really happy to see is the team finally looks like it has that well-oiled machine factor that I haven't seen under Shanahan yet. Everyone is playing well, disciplined, and playing with a crispness that we usually don't see. Usually even when the team wins they might be sharp one week, but be sloppy the next, and just never played with any sort of consistent domination but so far this year they have. Hard to put into words as it's more of an eye test kinda thing.

Now I fully expect them to have games where it doesn't always look good and even though the only team left you can argue that stands toe to toe with them are the Eagles there are still plenty of teams that can hand them an L.

Killing the Cowboys on a huge national stage is soooo gratifying. 49ers look like a juggernaut.
"Wes, Hill, Ibaka, Allen, Nwora, Brook, Pat, Ingles, Khris are all slow-mo, injury prone ... a sandcastle waiting for playoff wave to get wrecked. A castle with no long-range archers... is destined to fall. That is all I have to say."-- FOTIS

Bill Simmons said the challenge for the 49ers is if they will have CMC, Deebo and Purdy all healthy in January.

Yeah, it's still early, but it really feels like the biggest question for this team is health. We'll inevitably lose some guys - may already have with Banks - but we've got to keep the key players healthy.

I think Deebo might be the one weapon we would be okay without. That isn't saying he isn't great, I just think we have enough around that we would be fine

Phew! That's great news. Can't afford a season ender to anyone, really, but OL is particularly important given our lack of depth. Though Feliciano is a better backup than what we have at OT.

Great win in dominationg fashion. Not much to complain about except that TD given up by Oliver. Hope they can trade for another CB by deadline. Or perhaps an OT.

Also why Dan Quinn had Micah Parsons line up against Trent Williams for a good chunk of the game is beyond my comprehension. But ok! As a result Micah had no sacks, no hits, and only 2 pressures. But he can sure talk a good game after the beatdown.

Biggest concern is CMC out of the 3.

I feel the team can absorb the loss of either Deebo or Aiyuk just not both at the same time.

Purdy obviously is the most important of the 3 but major QB injuries aren't common even if they feel common with this team.

CMC is would just be a massive loss and he's at the greatest risk of being lost if Shanahan can't resist the urge to give him all these touches.

Ideally the team's playoff destiny is set going into the final game of the season and they can sit key guys and heck hopefully it's the #1 seed and they could potentionally give a CMC a two week break so he'd be really fresh for a playoff run.

I worry most about injuries to CB or the OL. Ambry Thomas starting is a frightening thought. Not much depth there.

The good news at CB is that Womack and Luter are both on the injured lists and should be back at some point. Not sure that Luter will be much better than Thomas, and could be worse, but I liked him coming out. And Womack has seemed like a playmaker every time he's gotten on the field.
