Tracking The 2008 Offseason

Post#1 » by SARGO127 » Sat Mar 1, 2008 10:38 pm

...watching everyone trade for and sign players while we sit back and watch everyone go. We have the most money to spend and we arn't using it. Not too happy, doesn't look like the FO is telling their fans they are committed to winning a championship. Im very disapointed.

If this helps some. The Titans got Alge Crumpler for TE.

SARGO, I'm going to have your topic stickied on the board to represent the offseason moves. As everyone has seen the Titans have signed former Falcons TE Alge Crumpler to a two year deal worth 2.25 mil.

Today, the Titans signed OT Michael Roos to a six yr deal worth 43 million. This deal makes Roos the third highest paid OT at his position.

That definitely helps. With our sub-par recievers, this helps take some of the lockdown off of our recievers now that we have a tight end worth giving some respect.

That's a good point CTC. I just hope that Crumpler will be able to stay healthy enough to play consistantly this season.

Yea. When he's healthy, he is a great weapon to have and is quite a playmaker on the offensive side of the ball which we have honestly been lacking the past few seasons.

When you said that statement. That reminded me of how the Titans missed Frank Wycheck and Erron Kinney when our TE game was reliable and intact.
