I was cheering from the Club Section of Miller Park, and I can tell you, when Wise walked 2 guys, everyone was booing. Shouse came on and got the double play, and then no one could understand why Yost would pull him for Spurling. Spurling deserves player of the game. He threw some nasty stuff.

As a note, I would like to point out that as soon as I threw my rally cap on, we got the home run. RALLY CAPS ALWAYS WORK. 100%.

Big time win, boys, BIG time win. Man is it nice to be back in the friendly confines of Miller Park.

Oh, and by the way, Yost should have argued that one-out Damian Miller "strikeout" with the bases juiced in the 8th inning until the ump tossed him (or at least until the home plate Umpire asked for a help on the call from the either the 1st or the 3rd base Ump).

Sorry, I couldn't resist. :)

Gwynn was part of the package. I'm guessing Jackson probably was too and then maybe a Charlie Fermaint or someone like that.

However if Boston couldn't get Gagne to waive his no trade clause he'd be a Brewer right now.

I was also at the game...stayed for all 13 innings, and boy am I happy I did.

Spurling pitched the best game of his career so far and gets my vote for player of the game.

And El Dude is right...that ump did have a strike zone the size of a napkin. You could see that from the friggin 2nd deck (which is where I was, 3rd base side, just in case any of yous were in the area)..

Best game of the year, biggest win of the year. I said before the last Jenkins at bat that this was the biggest at bat of the season. I really think this will catapult us to a winning streak.

Well, I had to work this morning, so of course I fell asleep after the 12th inning.

The Mets and Brewers seem to have some crazy, crazy games
