The Bills, Packers and Browns have been the rumored front runners for some time now but Adam Schefter of the NFL Network is reporting that Turner will be meeting with the Titans brass today.

Thanks, NC.

Although I would like Turner on this team, the tender price is steep as hell. I would just rather give LenDale White the starting position and go from there, rather than give up anything for Turner...

(This is being reported by PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT however, so I wouldn't put too much stock into it)

1st and 3rd is to steep of a price. However, if we swap firsts and give a 3rd. I could probably live with that.

Yeah PFT reporting makes me skeptical but though A.J. Smith plays hardball I think he knows that he's going to lose Turner at the end of the next year for nothing so he negotiating isn't out of the question.

If I was in the Titans position though I'd let LenDale White secure the position in camp.

FYI I predicted that White would be a better NFL player than his former teammate Reggie Bush.

That prediction hasn't turned out that well...has it... :(

Still, I predict a decent season for LenDale this year. Probably around 800 Yards and 5-6 TDs. I'm thinking we pick up a veteran RB before the season begins though...

Looks like a bidding war between the Bills and Titans. Michael Turner is in Buffalo right now meeting with the Buffalo brass.

Oh god... I hope we don't give up more than a 2nd for him...

Even though I think we should pick up a RB in the later rounds....

Swap 1sts and give them a 4th. Good enough.

Getting Turner would be awesome. A little lightning to White's thunder. I'm with J.Kim though, you can't overpay for this guy. There are just too many holes on this team to be giving up multiple high picks for one player.

Definitely. We have bigger holes to fill before even thinking about RB.
I'd personally like to see what LenDale White can give us in-game. I thought he'd play more this past season, but I guess with Travis Henry's re-emergence, it was hard for LenDale to get playing time (Doesn't help that there were rumors of him being overweight throughout the season either...)

With Henry gone to Denver now. This open the door for White to show what he's capable of.

So the way I see it there are 3 options

1) Trade for Michael Turner. Price WILL be high because there are 2 other team bidding.

2) Bring in Dillon to play with Lendale. I'm not sold on Lendale at all, but I think Dillon can give us 15 solid carries a game.

3) Bring back Brown to play with Lendale. I have no confidence in this move at all.Neither player has shown anything that would lead anyone to believe they are #1 backs.

They could also bring in a guy like Hicks or Barlow, but if they are going that route they may as well bring back Brown since he is familiar with the system.

My Vote is for Turner. I believe to go for the sure thing. Who knows what the 1st and 3rd will turn into.

I have absolutely no faith in Option 3. Not even that neither one would be #1 Backs, but the fact that Brown is so oft-injured, we're just as likely putting him on IR in the 3rd week, as we are getting a massive contributeion out of LenDale.

#1, I would rather not give up a #1 and #3. True, you don't know what these picks turn into, but generally, you don't give away a #1 and a #3 for a guy who'll come in and play in a RBBC with LenDale White. The absolute most I would give up is a #2.

For me, #2 is the best option, because it's low risk, high reward, plus I think Dillon can be a good mentor to LenDale, on the field.
