PG stepped up big time. Good win for him. That could carry over to the next games.

You need your lesser players to help win you a game now and then. You can't ask the same 2 or 3 guys to pull the cart EVERY night. Nobody's perfect. Kawhi in particular seems to get pissed sometimes when nobody else is stepping up and you can't blame him.
As it stands, Ty is giving Mann and Coffey about the same number of minutes. I'm not sure Mann's psyche could take another demotion. He lost his starting job first to Russ last year, then Beard this year. To get bumped off by a guy who wasn't even in the rotation a few months ago might blow his mind.
Definitely. And as fans watching from the couch it’s a completely different perspective. No team is perfect and the great ones win despite their deficiencies. Ty knows his team best.
Just wish Mann could do more than he’s currently doing.

Back to being a bit disappointed in our bigs. No offensive rebounds for the game. Duren had 18 rebounds. Zu band plumlee had 10 combined.

Any win during these 12:30 starts is a plus. On to the next one

Since Zu has been back, seems like playing time for Theis has diminished. Can't he play at the power forward position? Maybe the Clippers can try going a little bigger at times? He kind of reminds me Aaron Gordon a little bit. Just don'tlike seeing him with a DNP like today.

I would be more worried if he doesn't get minutes on Monday. We have a chance to take sole possession of 1st place on Monday. All of these guys better be ready to bring it.

Theis's plus/minus has been worst on the team except for the scrubs. 5 games, 10 games, 15, doesn't matter. The numbers aren't good.
The Clippers made their move today when Ty went small. Coffey at 6'7" instead of Theis at 6'8".

Isnt Mann seeing floor time with Harden, PG and Kawhi a lot more than Coffey does? Mann is the 5th option on the lineup he plays most minutes, Coffey is usually 3rd.

I didn't watch the game, but just looking at the box score. Offensive Rebounds: Pistons 14 - Clippers 0.
6'10 and 6'6 guys had half of those. I don't think I need to watch the game to know that we were not boxing out.

Yes, which explains why Coffey's plus/minus is a bit below Mann's. Coffey plays with Theis, who has the worst plus/minus and also Russ, while Mann plays with 3 HOFers.
Their minutes are evening up, and as we noted above, Coffey was on the floor and Mann was sitting when the Clips grabbed the game away today.
SHOCKER STAT: Over the last 10 games, Coffey is #1 in 4th quarter minutes at 10.4. Mann is pretty much LAST at 3.6.

ADD: Coffey 10 points in the 4th quarter today. That's stepping up.

Ah, ye of little faith.
It's more fun to believe than doubt. Anybody can doubt. And the odds are always in the doubter's favor.

they only played a combined 32 minutes and Zu hasnt been the same since coming back from the injury. Honestly neither has Plumlee. Both are a step slower and they werent fast to begin with. Plumlee has gotten better as he is rounding into shape.

Outside of George and coffee no one really played well. Positive sigh is they still won a arm wrestling match type without going past gear 1
