What true PF is left?

Unfortunately for Ty, the new rules (our cap situation and the bought out player's previous salary) won't allow us to reunite him with his favorite veteran.

Out of everyone on the team.. an energized PJ Tucker has the best chance.

Porter on the Warriors was a key rotation piece, and that was only a couple years ago. I doubt he's lost like most of that ability.

I'd rather have Porter's length and experience as half of a pair on a double team, a switch, or a paint-rotation against one of those guys.

I'd waive Primo for Porter to help out the PF depth, and bring Primo back in the summer.

He’s not playoff eligible though.

Cross Otto Porter Jr. off the list.

(My pick for no buyout signings and going into the playoffs as is is still alive.)

Jones will eventually stay with Philadelphia for the remainder of the season. Cross him off the list.

Time to throw PJ in the fountain of youth to his 2018 self

Is he even eligible for the playoffs?

Anyway, I'm no Daryl Morey fan and everybody laughed at him when he stockpiled 5 1/2 centers [including Trezz and PJ], but he ended up needing [or dispensing with] all of them as Embiid predictably got dinged up. And now he's signing another, perhaps with next year in mind.

OUR roster was not put together with this strategy. I'm convinced Ballmer gives thumbs up or down on almost every move. He has a win-now strategy with the first 10 roster slots and a just-in-case strategy with the other 5. Josh Primo? Talk about throwing spaghetti at the wall...

No help vs the Wolves or Thunder or Kings. Should we meet the Dubs, Lakers, or maybe even vs the Joker, he might be of use to bang around. Old School.

As the playoffs slow the game down and opps get older and slower, the PJ Window might open at some point. Ballmer is paying him $11 million this year either way and is stuck with his contract for ANOTHER year. Ty is giving Theis every chance to be a force, Plumlee has been an astonishing disappointment at any price [and he's getting $5 million].

so here we are

Clippers Looking for Tweener Forward Center

Now that all the outside buyouts and FAs are ineligible for the playoffs. PJ is the only "Tweener Forward Center" on the roster.

He needs development time. ;-)
