Fontecchio (sp) is a solid player. Can we please stop leaving him wide open?

At this point Coffey is clearly better than Mann. Wonder if he can Crack the starting lineup.

Mann = zero offensive threat. That’s a problem

Damn, hope Powell is OK. Looks like he's got a concussion. Hope he didn't break his nose.

Mann doesn't really hurt us out there, it's that he doesn't do much more than the minimum. You can go an entire quarter without hearing his name mentioned. Coffey has 10 points on 3-6 shooting; Mann two on 0-5 shooting and 2 FTs.
When Coffey hit that 3 to give us a 4-point lead the camera cut to Mann on the bench. Didn't look happy for his teammate.

I agree that scoring isn’t mandatory for Mann with all of our other stars & options. But quite often one or more of those stars is off their game. So having him out there just providing defense isn’t enough.

We got the win but it didn’t feel very deserving. I’ll take it anyway.
Hoping for the best for Powell but feel he’ll be out until after the break.

I feel like the team put so much focus into the Grammy trip, we are having a little post-trip let down emotionally. That’s okay, I think it will take us another game or 2 to get out of it. Just gotta hang in there like we did today, losing today would have been a huge bummer.
EDIT- no rest regardless with TWolves, GSW, OKC coming up. I would love to get 2 out of 3 and hold onto at least 2nd place…

I hope Powell is ok. They should give his minutes to Theis. I think hes gonna miss a few weeks. Lue is obsessed with going small but I would like to go big.

I will say that Ty Lue knows who to finish with though. Coffey out there the whole time. And if it was Coffey starting that would make our bench less effective as well.
I’ll never claim to know more than the coach or what’s best so I trust the professionals.

Their numbers are very close across the board, but Coffey seems to step up sometimes and give the team a lift when they need it. Double figures in 6 of the last 8 games. Mann...TWO.

You need your lesser players to help win you a game now and then. You can't ask the same 2 or 3 guys to pull the cart EVERY night. Nobody's perfect. Kawhi in particular seems to get pissed sometimes when nobody else is stepping up and you can't blame him.
As it stands, Ty is giving Mann and Coffey about the same number of minutes. I'm not sure Mann's psyche could take another demotion. He lost his starting job first to Russ last year, then Beard this year. To get bumped off by a guy who wasn't even in the rotation a few months ago might blow his mind.
