goodish start so far, given we're missing kawhi (the good version) and everyone else mostly doing their jobs. i imagine it's hard not to be deflated with kawhi out, even if he hasn't been playing so well.

but i don't quite see what the team is doing as sustainable, so i'm hoping something picks up either on defense or on offense.

well, if there's one person on this team who is capable of putting in a virtuoso performance and carrying the team to a win, it's james harden, and so far he's on the right track

He was in foul trouble plus they were running the offense through Kawhi and he literally couldn't move out there in games 2 & 3

The defensive clinic Mann is putting on is why I was screaming not to include him in a Harden trade last offseason. If only Lue hadn't coached every last bit of confidence out of him on offense.

mann giving up the and1 right after a back-breaking harden 3 was just such bad basketball.

Foul trouble shouldn’t make you less aggressive on offense though. Game 2 they tried force feeding Leonard but not game 3.
