Don't say it too much, we are capable of remembering

Hopefully your conclusion is inaccurate

one positive i'd like to to mention is i'm enjoying seeing westbrook's improved accuracy from mid-range to close. nice banks, good touch around the rim, etc.

FATALITY!

Post#44 » by Wammy Giveaway » Tue Nov 7, 2023 2:44 am

Clippers automatically lose, Knicks got to 100 first.

Back-to-back losses, now 3-3, and the Harden trade is already being declared a failure.

Lue's on the hot seat. He gets fired, who should be Clipper's coach?

Strange game. Harden and Westbrook looked solid but George and Leonard looked bad. Oh well, move on to the next one.

All the fans begging for Harden got what they wanted. Hope you enjoy it.

This team is predictably way worse than it was before the disaster of a trade. We're even older and slower, with no defense and rebounding but still a million turnovers. It's not going to get much better from here because we have the worst coach in the league and a GM who's already given away all our trade assets for the next decade and wasted our remaining roster spots on more guards.

Serious teams that actually win championships don't do any of the things that our front office has done over the last couple years. We watched the Nets implode twice in a decade and, instead of learning from them, decided to retrace their steps. :noway:

yeah weird game. pretty much everyone was butt except those two. i'm not really worried, but in some ways i kinda am because i think it will be later rather than sooner, that the team forms an identity. which, you know, we kinda already had before the trade.

Harden looked fine.

But we traded all our bigs away to make it happen. Now we have what could a devastating injury to Plumlee.

Tucker is washed.

Why bring Doc back? You only do it if the coach actually made your team the most successful. Lakers did it with Phil Jackson after that one season with Rudy Tomjanovic. Just because Lakers did it doesn't mean Clippers have to copy them. Their jealousy of their big brother is why they've been losers for so many years. If only the Clippers would heed the advice of one Morgan Freeman from Bruce Almighty: "That's everybody's problem; you keep looking up."

A terribly constructed team with 4 former superstars who dont know how to play a role. They turned the ball over like crazy and were awful on the boards. Plumlee probably gone for a long time if not the whole season. This team gave away all their picks for this. PG is a terrible GM. And they were looking decent prior to the trade. i saw some hope. so many players dont make sense anymore.

Sixers 146 Wiz 128

Batum--17 minutes, 11 points, 2 rebs, 0 assists, plus+30 [TEAM HIGH]
RoCo 4 minutes of garbage time
Mook: 6 minutes of garbage time
K Martin 4 minutes of garbage time

sounds about right

I think it was a joke. Clipper Twitter Nation would totally lose its sh*t, lol. And forget around here.

Frank trading Petrusev to a division rival for free looks even dumber now than it already did.

I'm sick of knowing in my gut every time this team makes a move that it's the wrong one and being proven right every single time. :noway:

PG often gets off to a great start and puts us in the driver's seat. Tonight he was crap. And KL often coasts for 3 quarters, hoping somebody will step up. By the time he started really playing tonight, we were in too deep a hole. The Knicks hit 8 of 9 just as the starters were coming back in for Winning Time.

Russ and Beard seemed to both be on good behavior, not wanting to try to do too much and come off like they were hogging. Beard didn't even take a shot until the 2nd quarter.

And of course 20+ TOs is not gonna win you many games. A pick-up team once again.

Just some weird feeling-out dynamics, I think. Obviously they need to get to the place where each night has a different hero. Tonight, nobody wanted to be. TOO much deference.

If you only look on the offensive side of the ball, you may think that. Go watch the first part of the 4th. Harden's defense was terrible and he probably gave away as many points as he scored. Doubt this aspect of his game will improve.

I'll tell you right now how that'll work: the big man will either be ancient and washed or Lue won't play him, and Mann will start putting up career numbers on his new team.

This team is unfixable until Ballmer finally notices how bad the front office and coaching are.

The medical staff is a joke. They are reporting "knee sprain". Look at the replay, his leg definitely bent unnaturally . If he didn't tear something, I would be very surprised.

These are the same people that caused Michael Porter Jr to tank in the draft. With all the money Ballmer spends on this team, I can't believe we haven't upgraded the medical staff.
