No team should be facing a team that's been off since Monday while a team is coming off of back to back and 3rd game in 4 nights. It's like the league wants to actually schedule losses for teams

Disappointing but not over yet. Honestly losing Kawhi is massive and PG coming back only moves the needle a little in his absence. OKC getting all the hustle plays and rebounds. Remember the expectations for this game

Theres no way in hell i am giving PG a max contract at the end of the year. He is at best a 3rd best player on a team. Hes a 30 million a year player at best. Not a difference maker. 2 years 60 million with lots of incentives. His atheticism has really dropped off. Hes not even in the same hemisphere as SGA.

Fully healthy and not playing at a disadvantage, the Clippers beat this team.

This is where a coach chews them out and asks for effort.

They need rest. Simple as that.

Obviously no Kawhi so rotations are totally different. But, the defensive rotations were pretty terrible. And I know stars should get a brunt of the criticism but its games like this I get frustrated at the role players. The loose balls, and missed rotations of those players. Brandon Boston jr was pretty bad. Amir Coffey had some awful plays. Kobe Brown was not very good either. That's why I want to trade for Chris Boucher, or Isiah Stewart. Just someone who is going to be flying around. I just don't like hustle players getting outhustled.

well, i wanted this one for obvious standings reasons. and of course, beating one of the best teams in the league while missing your best player would be fairly telling. but plenty of season left to make up the standings, and we'll showdown with OKC again, hopefully with a full crew and see how we match up.

all that said, at this exact juncture of the season, boston's the more important game to look forward to, so hopefully we are well rested and well prepared for it..

agree with this. multiple instances where the rotations were just completely wonky or bad. you'd like to chalk that up to tired legs causing one breakdown, which cause a ripple effect, but i'm not so sure i'd bet on that. it just kinda looked like people didn't know what was up.

that said, i mean when you are missing kawhi leonard, that kind of thing is gonna be pretty jarring to make up for. that didn't mean we had to put boston in though, because he was just plain bad, and there is really no point in playing him if he doesn't have at least one meaningful way to contribute on an NBA court - which unfortunately he still does not seem to have.

Ty gave both Coffey and BBJ some burn. He batted .500. Coffey acquitted himself well. He might be getting a sniff at some of Mann's minutes, who's been MIA lately.

Mann is quickly giving up his spot to Maxwell house. This would have been a good game to give Harden a night off.

3 games in 4 nights and no Kawhi, scheduled loss. I thought Coffey would step up more in this game and show what he's capable of with Kawhi out, increased minutes, and with the guy in front of him rotation wise, Mann, losing his offensive game. Rest of the youth who played were meh. Nobody really wanted it tonight though. They were gassed and fatigued. On to the next one

Also thought Zubac and Theis weren't great tonight. Maybe this is the type of matchup where Plumlee is big?
