I love how Ralph lets out some country when he gets excited. But seriously, dunking on Perk made it that much sweeter.

I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

These are mainly from last year, but still nice. If someone could make a mix of his post moves from this year, separated into the different moves, it would be cool, or a video with just his spin move

Head shaking offensive spacing:
Image
Running a high pick and roll with Chris and Blake, with the usual 3 guys standing around. Problem here is that Mo on the pick side of Paul and so close, so he negates any ability for Paul to drive to the basket or turn the corner because his man (Ray Allen) can just sag down and prevents and penetration while still being close enough to recover and contest any shot by Mo.

Image
Note how no one moves. Clearly the only play that can be made is to Foye. Chris penetrates a little, and ends up finding Foye who slid up a little to give a better passing angle, and because Foye's man sags down a little to prevent Blake from getting free. That's not bad basketball, but it relies on Foye's man sagging every single time, and it keeps everything on the perimeter.

Option 1: Mo should have passed the ball to Paul and move to the right corner, while Simmons would move to the opposite block. When they run the pick and roll, Simmons moves to the ball side block, and Paul can find him. When Simmons has the ball, Mo is going to flash from the corner to the wing as his man might sag down. Simmons then has the option of hitting Mo, hitting Blake who would still be cutting, taking a shot if it is there, posting up if it was a proper matchup, or kicking out to Paul or Foye, whatever is available.

Option 2: The pick and roll should have been run closer to the left side to improve spacing, and then when Paul and Blake go, Foye again would flash from wing to corner. In this scenario though, Paul has better spacing and can get into the paint, draw defenders and kick out to the corner.

One of my favorite clipper moments from this season. Hopefully they can start playing with this type of confidence soon!

This is what I love to see, a forum totally dedicated to the awesomeness that Blake Griffin offers. Thanks for posting the cool videos and pictures, that Mozgov dunk is still on the top of my list for best dunks!

Man, I was jumping off my couch watching this. I like how you put it, that was a confident team, not the shell of a team we roll out there now. If one man, Billups, can mean so much to a team, then let's go all out to sign Ray Allen in the offseason. Jerry Sloan coaching a team of CP3, Allen, Butler, Blake and DJ will be a top 4 seed for sure.

That video makes me miss Billups a heap but I think we gotta realise, Billups didn't actually do that much in that play.. its more the fact that everyone just has more confidence out there when hes out there.

I'd love for us to build that kind of confidence again (whatever it takes) cause we look great when we do that. It was mainly Butler and Mo, there still here, I know it was early in the season but hey, there capable and we'd all love if they could get back to that right now.

This isn't a Clipper video, but the Pistons offense in terms of when the ball is thrown into the post, even though they don't have similarly talented offensive players looks quite nice. This is a video about Greg Monroe's passing, but it also highlights the Pistons ability to move off the ball and to make cuts after throwing the ball into the post. I don't know about the rest of their offense though.

...and I'll mention that a lot of it is good off ball movement by Jonas Jerebko, he makes decisive cuts that put him in open spots and in scoring position, along with other guys on the team. That is in addition to Monroe's ability to pass.

I was desperately hoping that Monroe would fall to us in the 2010 draft. I wasn't really sold on any of the wings that were going to be available to us at our spot. I loved Monroe passing and offensive polish. I thought it would have been nice to have had two quality passing bigs in the frontcourt.

I'm glad to see Jerebko healthy and back on their roster. I liked what I saw from him during his rookie season and was pretty disappointed when he had to miss last season to injury.

This team has a lot (understatement) to work on in the offseason and in next season's training camp. I hope that we'll actually have a system that we'll be working toward implementing. The lack of movement is depressing. We have to work so hard for many of our points and then we turn around and let our opponents waltz to the basket for an easy score when we're on defense.
