Tankalicious

For the Jazz, they'll be without a collection of key starters. Lauri Markkanen, John Collins, Walker Kessler, and Collin Sexton will all be out with their respective injuries (and illness, in the case of Sexton). Off the bench, Utah will also be without Jordan Clarkson and Kris Dunn, leaving a bit of a hole in their guard depth.

Jazz aren't particularly looking to win, so that's nice.

Dallas has played elite defense for about 20+ games now, even with Kawhi, not particularly confident in the Clippers for that matchup unless they can conjure up some next level of defensive ability.

Obviously we're sunk without Kawhi, even with him we are just one of the pack in the West as reflected in our record. We're all past the heady days of December, I just want us to secure that home court for the first series and be healthy. I think my perspective going into this or any succeeding series is that we aren't the favorites, but we do have it in us to at least extend the series and potentially win.

Jazz would probably rather lose too. At least the coaches and ownership. a loss guarantees 26.2% chance to a top 4 pick for Utah. If they win their next two, and Nets lose, their chance to a top 4 pick would drop to 20%

Good thing they beat the Rockets last night, they could really use the loss tonight!

What we will never know is whether Kawhi has sat this long because of injury or he has sat this long because the rest of the team has made it possible?

Because they have won and the teams below them have lost, Clips maintained position during Kawhi's absence.

If the Clips were fighting to stay out of the play-in, I doubt Kawhi would be sitting. The stars have aligned to allow him some time off that stars on other teams aren't getting.

Will be interesting to see if he plays at all on Sunday. Will be the last regular season home game at Staples Center/Crypto.

It’ll be interesting to see if Lawrence Frank says anything about Leonard when he joins the broadcast in the second quarter.

Speaking of Leonard. He’s back on the bench tonight. He seems too happy and engaged if he’s done for the season. Behavior is different than the previous times of secrecy.

Nothing new from Frank lol. I wasn’t expecting much but something more than what we’ve heard. He’s dealing with inflammation and he and the medical staff are working hard to get him ready.

I would trade our entire roster and the Intuit Dome for Wemby.

I don’t care if we play our home games on a drive way in the suburbs. Just get it done.

I erased some sarcastic comments earlier. I don't like negging my team.

Our "C" team and "G" team just tied it up. 96-96. Clipper PRIDE!!

Kobe just needs playing time. I can see him becoming a solid player on both ends

Why are you guys purposely losing? Are the playoff seeding already determined?
