Want to see no Plumlee, more Theis. Less Coffey (if Mann can play), and less Westbrook, and more PJ.

If no Terrance Mann this game I wonder how many points Doncic is going to score tonight. Oof, both PG and Harden are going to need huge games to drag this series to a game 7 for an afternooner at the crytpt.

Wish I could get hyped for the game but … all the reports that Lebrun wants Lue as the next Lakers coach and Philly salivating over PG the way the Clippers did with Leonard seems more juicy.

The one thing going for us is that Game 5 was so bad it felt like it was actually the elimination game. Now that no one gives us a chance (even though one single win here would send it to a Game 7 at home), maybe we can actually lay everything on the line like one of Wammy's narratives. We are literally a dead man walking.

When we play with 'confidence', it's 50/50 going to be a fake confidence/little bro syndrome that actually sinks us (especially PG) and there's little chance of that right now.

No Terrance would really be a drag though.

That wiretap headline is horrible, the actual quote about Ty:

"J.J. is certainly a real candidate if they do open up this coaching search," said Dave McMenamin on the Dan Patrick Show. "There's I'd say half a dozen folks out there, including possibly Tyronn Lue. There are several viable candidates who will get an interview."

He's a dawg and would probably play with a broken leg in this game. I think the only decision is going to be by Ty in terms of whether he is too hurt to help the team on the floor.

Love Terrance, just wish he was more aggressive taking the ball to the rim. He has great low post shots around the rim. He hesitates too much and it clogs up the offense. We need downhill Terrance.

Maybe he can slap some sense into PG?

Unfortunately (or fortunately if we lose) probably won't be able to watch this one. I'll be driving up to LA to visit the family for my bday. Shout out to PG on his birthday need him to have a magical performance.

Wow, I'm gonna leave RealGM a legend. Thank Mad Max.

What narrative of mine were you specifically pointing to?

this times a 1000. I am not a fan of PG. I just dont think he has the desire that burns to win. Not everyone has it. Hes made a lot of money and can play well at times. but this should be burning him to win a chip. He makes so many sloppy decisions in a game, most of his passes are lazy without great intention. He has the capability to be great, all the skills, but something is just missing. He takes too many nights off.

8-)
I seem to recall one about elimination games or not losing 3 games in a row, also the one about the Clippers being the perpetual kid brother.

I think he wants to (you don't become an NBA star without that desire to fuel your work and development), but gets intimidated in the moment and isn't able to face up to it so he talks about how there's no pressure, he's worked hard, or the classic one about how they weren't expected to win a title their first year anyway. I'm not sure he's even really self-aware of this, or else he'd realize how corny some of the stuff that comes out of his mouth.

Instead of just simply saying 'I need to do better' and then resolving to make that effort (win or lose), he rationalizes the losses. You just end up selling yourself short.

Who is the vocal leader for the Clippers? I thought it was Westbrook and at times I have seen it be Harden.

But who pull them together when they are getting blown out or playing bad?

They are gonna give us the same **** next year. I want to see Lue develop one young player. He is simply not capable and with new rules, you are going to have to rely on young players especially with new salary cap restrictions and having more than one high priced player.

Not gonna lie, very low expectation tonight, especially for James Harden.
