so, if i stopped watching after the 1st quarter, if you had told me that the team mailed it in and ended up losing the game by 30 i'd have believed you

if you had told me that they would be tied at half time i'd be demanding to know why you were lying to my face

this team was legitimately doing just about everything wrong. bad closeouts to the line, not boxing out, terrible shot selection, not moving the ball. but bit by bit guys came to life and it's like the team went "oh yeah! we can play good basketball, too!!"

i mean i don't wanna make predictions but if this 2nd quarter hasn't re-ignited life back into the team then i don't know what else will. i expect them to come out looking whole in the 3rd, and that looked like a virtual impossibility after the way they were playing in the first.

Tired of this era man, just not enjoyable. There were flashes, but that’s it.

How did Lue justify tossing Tucker back in?

He's 38 years old. Age is the only column Lue looks at on the stat sheet.

Good thing they working on an extension for Ty Lue. We can make sure every washed up vet gets playing time. LAL saying they wanted him is like the worst thing ever.

I wish this would just end. But then I realize what a bleep show the off season will be too.

Who’s ready for the smiles and smirks from Lue post game? We’ll be a’right. We’ll be ready next season.

Ballmer really wants to run it all back lmao.

At this point of time, how does anyone ask why Lue is not making sensible coaching decisions? I’ve given up on Lue making smart decisions because any smart coach would play the more nimble Theis who can make the three? Lue would play Haslem over Theis if given a choice.

PG should be traded while he’s got some or any value. I’d keep Harden (not at max) because at least he can make plays. PG is a liability. Let someone else give him a max contract.

I wonder if Theis is sorry he wanted out of Indy? He ended up on the bench here too.

FATALITY, FATALITY, FATALITY... ULTIMATE FATALITY!

Post#55 » by Wammy Giveaway » Sat May 4, 2024 4:02 am

Clippers have automatically lost. Mavericks hit 100 points first to score the Scorpion Fatality!

For the first time ever, Dallas has FINALLY defeated the Clippers. Dynamic Duo is better than Big 3Fantastic 4.

Be prepared to hear rumors of the franchise blowing it up. Everyone is gone except Leonard (because of the extension). Westbrook will request a trade. Harden's not coming back. George may hold the franchise hostage by picking up his player option to request a trade, making their rebuilding season chaotic. Lue will look to move on.

And yeah, Thunder have won the Shai Gilgeous-Alexander trade.

The inaugural season in their new arena is gonna be abysmal.

Had Kawhi stayed healthy we’d be the ones moving on. But, Kawhi is never healthy when needed in the playoffs and PG is not that superstar who could score 40 points a la Brunson to save our season.
The FO is incapable of making smart decisions and the coaching is subpar.
So there’s that picture.

Good. He’ll make a great partner for that other crybaby Embiid.

Clippers gave a good effort but just don’t have enough to get over that top.

Now I remember all the disappointment from last season.

Kawhi never available in the playoffs

Paul George just not that guy.

Give credit to the Mavs for playing their butts off.

I don’t buy the Philly stuff. I do believe he’d go back to Indy though.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
