Buccaneers Rookie Mini-Camp

Post#1 » by denterprise » Sun May 10, 2015 7:49 pm

The new coming out of rookie camp seems to be positive. I am happy we did not have any serious injuries like the Jags. It came as no surprise that Jameis Winston showed the leadership qualities that endeared him to his teammates at FSU. First one off the bus and shaking hands and motivating his teammates.

WR Kenny Bell was looking good with Jameis hitting him in stride going down field. Once they have a chance to work on timing issues and build chismistry Bell is going to be a weapon for the Bucs. They see him seriously competing for the third receiver spot but looks like a lock to be on special teams.

Ali Marpet and Donovan Smith are coming along. The coaching staff was pleased how they responded when corrected on their technique. They are fast learners and should be ready for preseason camp.

Great news, I am holding out hope for this group of guys! I think Lovie and the GM are setting the right tone, now we need JW to embrace his gifts and grow with our expectations! Good read, thanks!
Waiting for the Championship parade at Lake Eola!

Winston's football IQ is off the charts. This is not just PR by the organization, because this is what JW has been doing his whole time at FSU. JW is committed to becoming one of the best to play the game.

He is a hard hitter, hopefully he comes in hungry and proves he is more of an asset at safety than special teams.
