I really think this game will be close but I'm expecting a 3-2 win. Doc will pitch 6 scoreless innings only to get to our bullpen where they will allow 2 runs. But BJ saves the day.

3-2 Jays
w: Doc
s: Ryan
HR: Thomas
RBI: Thomas (2), Glaus

Tigers lineup is much like the Jays - all their dangerous bats are right handers. Therefore having a righty on the mound in Doc is a big key.

Good test to start the season to see where we're at!

Im really liking us for the first two games of the year because we got our best picthing then, but after that our offense will have to spank everyone to have a chance. And Im guessing the jays will be on sportsnet right?

The one good thing about missing a **** of raps games is that I will catch so many blue jay games its not even funny (except tmr since bastards made it at 1)

Yep I am in the same boat!

Go Jays!!! I want to see those big bats come alive early and often.

Jays take it 4-2. Doc is going to tear them up. I want to see Johnson wear out Bonderman early by fouling off a couple of pitches and make him earn his outs.

I just found out about these forums, and I'm extremely excited to say the least :). I can't wait for this game, I'm at work, but I'll have the Yahoo! Sports game channel going.

We need to rethink the way we do the game threads, we can't take the Raptor model because we have too many players, maybe an overhead of the field with everyone in their positions, I'll try and make something for the next game thread (though i'm hoping this never happens since we'll be having a 162-0 season :D)

So excited!! I'm going to throw up a daily papers thread right now see if we can't get that tradition started here
