I’d rather have Younghoe simply for the great name.

Because who doesn’t need a Younghoe on their team?

See?

But - all joking aside, I think they will go with a known quantity and bring back the kid they had in camp. Irwin-Hill.

I'm dead.

Jwise still not responding, eh?

Good. Because its after 1:00am and I have to work tomorrow. We will have to pick this back up later. Otis will be up early tomorrow reviewing our behavior,

I actually enjoy the good-natured stuff between us and guys like Jack, Jwise and the others. It's way better than the nasty crap that goes on at that other site.

Even if he is trying like hell to pawn off his crappy kicker.

Irwin-Hill wasn’t terrible in preseason. I think that’s who they’ll end up signing. We’ve been so spoiled with Bailey, now we get to see how the rest of the NFL lives. FG’s are now a must watch, nail biting play. At this time of year a slim pickings when it comes to who’s available.

"How the rest of the NFL lives" is exactly why I prefer Irwin-Hill. Like you said - he wasn't terrible. Rather let him come in and give him a chance to prove himself and catch on with someone else than recycle the usual suspects.

Wonderful, just wonderful. As if we don't already have our hands full with other crap on the team. Now that we have everyone back from suspension and Sean Lee back, we need to get the defense going and finally see what we have. And hopefully the defense will get a lot better because we still have a cover up and make up for the bad coaching. Andy Reid will be ready. Oh, and get Cole Beasley more involved and touches, damn it !!!!

FG attempts aren't going to be the casual watch they have been will they? May have an impact on how Garrett approaches 4th downs though.

As you say - gonna be interesting.

Cowboys release Kellen Moore.

Adjust your fantasy teams accordingly.

Haha!

Any word if he’s being added to the practice squad?

He doesn’t have to clear waivers. So it’s probably going to happen before they head to DC.

Bigger question for me...

They have 4 TE's on the active roster after bringing Jarwin up. Apparently, other teams were trying to grab him and cutting Moore allowed this move. So there's Witten, Hanna, Swaim & Jarwin... and Rico Gathers is still on IR... but hasn't started practice even though he is working out with Woicek.

That's 5 TE's, kids. Someone (maybe 2) aren't in the long range plans. And I'm starting to think Gathers might be one of them.

IMHO, today and next week are must wins. But lets start with a solid win today !!

Today vs. the foreskins is another Must win. We don't win this one as well, you might as well stick a fork in our season.

No room for error is there?

That’s what sucks about the losses to the Rams and Packers... at home. To have those games in hand only to soil ourselves and lose them...

Need at least two of the next three before the Philly showdown. The good news is as long as the defense can stay healthy, they have a chance to be a little better. And all the sudden neither KC or ATL look as dominant as they did a couple of weeks ago.

Huge game this afternoon.

From my understanding they plan to keep Rico on the IR for the remainder of the year. Jarwin will also likely never be made active this year. If he is I’d think it’d be in place of Swaim. After the season there is a good chance Witten retires and Hanna moves on. So going into next season the TE’s are likely Swaim, Jarwin, and Rico.

The good thing here is if we take care of business and beat the Skins today, we are looking good going into next weeks game. Chief's will be coming off a tough Monday night game with Denver. They usually have let downs after they play Denver. We could get on a bit of a roll here but need to start out by taking care of business today.
