NFL lost both Joe Burrow and Mike Andrews to season ending injuries this week. Huge losses for both teams.

Mike Vrabel fired by Titans. Depending on how things turn out in the next 3 weeks, would he be an option for us?

It’s possible. I think if Jerry was going to hire a defensive coach though it would be Dan Quinn.

According to one of the local radio stations Washington is going to go hard after Dan Quinn and Will McClay, if they don’t get Harbaugh. Some teams are wanting the combo of Quinn/McClay. I still believe that if the Cowboys lose at home in the playoffs Mike McCarthy will be gone and Jerry will hire Quinn and give McClay a raise. There’s talk that Jerry might even be willing to hand over the title of GM to McClay. He’s basically the GM already. He’s in charge of player personnel, and is paid like all of the top GM’s. He just doesn’t have the title.

Although his gig is pretty good as it is. He gets to pick the players and gets a ton of credit when he hits and when he misses Jerry gets the blame.

5 teams (including Seattle) want to interview Dan Quinn for their HC openings. Panthers, Commanders, Chargers, and Titans are the other 4.

Well I think it's a given that if we don't make it to the NFC Championship Game that this franchise will have an entirely new coaching staff next season.

Guys, I'll be surprised if Quinn doesn't end up as Pete's replacement. Everything that I'm hearing is that he's the clear favorite.

When it rains, it pours. Patriots now without a coach. Poor Bill.

Not for long. Vrabel is the guy.

That's what they have been saying for awhile now. Robert Kraft loves Vrabel.

Not gonna lie, I love the idea Belichick in Dallas. I don't care if he's washed up, I'll take a washed up Belichick over most coaches including MM.

I still think it comes down how the Cowboys do in the playoffs. There’s a very good chance that Quinn is the Cowboys new HC.

I mentioned that a couple weeks ago when the rumors of Bill leaving New England first started. Part of me thinks it would be a great idea however the other part of me wants no part of Belichick in Dallas. I still would rather have Harbaugh. It would definitely add to the circus that’s for sure.

I like the idea of Harbaugh too, I think I'd still rather have Bill than that though.

Ultimately I just hope we win this post season and MM keeps his job. But if we don't do that it is nice to think about these consolation prizes.

As soon as I heard that Pete was done, DQ was the first that came to my mind. He & Pete have a good relationship and I don’t see any chance DQ would be intimidated by his presence at all. It just seems like a no brainer. My concern would be who he takes with him. I could see Al Harris being a great replacement at DC here but DQ might have the same thoughts for Harris in Seattle.

He's 72. So that means that you'll have to find a replacement in 3-4 years. He won't be around very long.

Yeah, I mean that's probably close to when Daks next contract would run out. Give it all one last 4-5 year run and then hit the reset button.

Patriots decide to go with Jerad Mayo instead. Not really surprised as he was also being mentioned a lot with Vrabel in all the local sports media. Still think there will be teams hot for Vrabel.
