He's your classic move-the-runner-along number 2 hitter. As was evidenced in the first inning.

But the classic 2 hitter is usually capable of hitting too.

Zobrist looks overmatched too many times for me to be comfortable with.

JMO.

I'm impressed with Iwamura.

Gomes needs to get more AB's. Hopefully we'll see more Baldelli in CF & Gomes at DH w/ Dukes riding the pine. In terms of Zobrist it's a bit of a tougher call, since we really don't have anyone to play SS consistantly.

I agree with you here.

Zobrist, to me, just seems like your classic .230 hitter from what I've seen so far. But, it is too early to judge him.

I'd like to see Crawford staying in the leadoff spot, followed by Iwamura in the 2 spot.

I'm a believer in loading the lineup at the top, instead of staggering your most productive hitters throughout.

Harris may never be any better than Zobrist, and just equally mediocre, but isn't it worth finding out? Whoever gets the job is merely a holdover anyway.

Nice little road trip, 3-4, I'll happily take it.

Wish we could have seen or heard it.

No radio coverage, no TV coverage in Orlando.

It really sucks. I wish the Rays would get more forceful about it.

Harris gets the start over Zobrist & doesn't waste anytime hitting his 2nd HR of the season. Young went yard too & Iwamura just hits (& draws walks).

Seo didn't look too terrible & again Reyes was lights out. I'll take a 2-2 series split against the Twins

Not exactly a well played series, but it was a good one.
