Gonzales Has Sore Elbow?!?!

Post#1 » by Lord Commander » Fri Apr 20, 2007 2:27 pm

Already?!?! Looks like you guys may have some cause for concern here. Gonzales was very impressive against the Mets during the last series. Not having him to neutralize our lefties (particularly Delgado, who's getting hot) may prove to be detrimental. Rotoworld is also saying that he's susceptible to further elbow problems.

Could be overworking him in the first week or so. Nothing to be to concern about this early in the season.

Gonzalez does have a history of injuries it's a concern but that's why bullpens must be built to be deep. So far the Braves have lost Boyer to injury, Gonzalez to injury, and Mcbride to ineffectiveness and it's still better than last year's bullpen.
