Exactly. The thing is with Pena already having the problem of pitch recognition and plate discipline, not playing every day will make it much worse. It will get better if he gets time and more at bats. The kid has tremendous power and last year also hit for decent average.

It's not just the one play, he seems shaky going after everything.

Like I said before, he had me excited on what he could become (in LF or RF), but so far this season, he has been a let down. He definately brings the excitement back when he hits a bomb, or a GS to win it like the other night. Hopefully he can keep his last couple games of hitting going.

I never said WMP was Willie Mays out there. He has the speed to get to just about anything in center. I'm also not saying he looks graceful out there either, he just has the ability to get to the ball. He's fine as a 4th OF at this point. I would however like to see the Sox give him some time at first.

yeah, but there isn't a stat called "rolls"... they would would take a walk, you know 4 balls, and then they would roll on down there in their wheel chairs lol
